Eureka Mine

The Euraka Mine produced $175,000 of gold (at $20 an ounce) for Pete Aguereberry who lived and mined here until 1945. Next to the mine is the Cashier Mill which once belonged to Shorty Harris and then sold to the Cashier Mining Company, from whom it was purchased by Aguereberry. On the other side of the hill are the remains of the Aguereberry camp.

The mine is located west of Emigrant Canyon Road near Harrisburg Flats in Death Valley National Monument.
