This is an abandoned turn-of-the-century mining town in the remote hills northeast of Bridgeport in Mono County. There is nothing left of Upper Masonic. The only remains of Middle Masonic is a hopper and a shack. Lower Masonic still has the remains of the Pittsburg-Liberty (sic) mine and a few miner's shacks.

Masonic can be reached by the Bodie-Masonic road north from Bodie. Alternatively, you can take Masonic Road off CA-182, 5 km north of Bridgeport (this route will take you past the Chemung Mine).
