Herron's Mills

Herron's Mills was founded in 1842 by John Gillies who operated a mill on the Clyde River until 1871, when the mill and surrounding buildings were sole to John Herron. The mill was in operation until 1950 when they were closed for good. Today, the remains of the mill is located on private land.

Herron's Mills is located just east of Highway 51, 1 km north of Clydesville.
